Texas Native Doug Herd Makes Return to Dirt
Racing is a family-oriented sport that requires excessive amounts of time, as well as financial backing to achieve success. The balancing act can be handled, but Doug Herd was forced to put on the brakes ensuring he put his family back in the forefront.
Doug Herd Racing is proud to announce that the Texas native will be making his return to the Dirt Tracks beginning with the 2022 racing season. Herd will be competing in the Factory Stock Division at the Kennedale Speedway Park facility located between Fort Worth and Arlington.
“Dirt Racing has always been an important part of my life. The passion burns alive and well 24/7, but I knew that I needed to take some time to prioritize my duty as a husband and father first. Thankfully, my wife has been supportive of my decision to get back in the seat of a car. 2022 will be a re-learning process, but full of memorable experiences,” said Doug.
